Masters:

Piccolo: The first one (besides Trunks) to greet Abyss as he materialized in Toki Toki City. Piccolo became Abyss's first master, teaching him to properly hone his skills in some of the more lethal battles yet to come about, giving the stoic looking trainee Time Patroller many important lessons about how to flip the tables in a fight.

Move: Special Beam Cannon + Training with Skill = Demon Piercing Cannon : After extensive training with the namekian born of earth, Abyss learned to focus his Ki into all of his digits (Index & Middle brought together) (Ring & Pinky brought together and bridged as far as possible from the locked Index and Middle Fingers) (Thumb extended and placed below the two "claws" that are seperated at a distance) to form his hand into the position of a flipped pyramid, where he proceeds to fire 3 beams of concentrated ki energy of a golden coloration with swirling mardi gras purple streaming around them like serpents rising up a pole; this move is akin to a Magnum, Sniper and Shotgun blast fired all at once, designed to pierce a target and really destroy their defenses.

Cell: Another notable master who actually got Abyss to lighten up a bit and learn to enjoy some fights, for they could be your last. Cell's approach to training was to goad his student into fighting harder each time, until he was just ripe to take on Cell at his full power as Cell became obssessed on simply sparring as if it were a game where the stakes were always raised. From this bio organic android Abyss learned the value of a good defense.

Move: Perfect Kamehameha + Training with Skill = Surging Kamehameha Wave : Once Cell had taught all that he knew to his student, that is where the formation of a new move was conceived. Surging Kamehameha Wave is charged by bringing two hands together as if grasping an orb; the next step is to pull them back and fire forth with a double arm thrust that shoots two green Kamehameha's that swirl around eachother that soon collides with a target in an explosion of emerald fury.

Goku: A master who expected Abyss to try to rise on his own without much guidance; Goku kept matching his student's level in order to gauge his strength and then to surprize him with his superior skills. The saiyan had encouraged Abyss to look forward to a future confrontation as long as he kept training everyday like his master before him, with Goku teaching Abyss the importance of keeping your energy always stocked up and making use of his speed.

Move: Super Kamehameha + Training with Skill = Kamehameha Star : By redirecting all available ki to the feet, the hands and the mouth, Abyss can fire a startling 5 pronged attack that has the added benefit of inducing a Solar Flare blindness for a few moments.
